The advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. The NWS advises that low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous and that drivers should slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of them. Safety tips include using low-beam headlights and avoiding high-beam lights, which create glare that impairs visibility. If necessary, pull off the road at a designated parking area, deactivate all lights except the hazard flashers, and release the brake pedal to ensure safety.
