Man suspected of killing ex-wife arrested, Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says
A man was arrested Saturday in connection to the death of his ex-wife inside an El Paraiso Avenue residence, Sacramento County officials said. A 67-year-old man, Wendell Celestine, has been arrested in connection to the death of his ex-wife, identified as 56-year old woman. The incident occurred at a Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District residence on Oct. 23. The victim, who Celestine claimed was his girlfriend, died at the residence with signs of physical trauma and evidence of a physical altercation. Celestine was detained by deputies and later arrested on suspicion of murder after further investigation. He was booked into jail on a charge of murder and ineligible for bail.
