Mitchell Duggan has been appointed as General Manager of the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel in downtown Sacramento, California. Duggan brings over 23 years of luxury hospitality leadership within Marriott International, including leadership roles at The Ritz-Carlton brand. His appointment aligns with the property’s 25th anniversary celebration and the global modernization of the Marriott International brand. This follows a $35 million multi-year transformation that included extensive transformation of guest rooms, public gathering spaces, and culinary outlets while preserving the architectural heritage of the historic Sacramento Public Market Building. The hotel was originally opened in 2001 and is set to be an economic anchor for downtown Sacramento.
