Sacramento Launches Mobile App For Transition-Aged Youth

Sacramento’s new Youth Resource Guide app helps young people find housing, food, health care, jobs and other local services through one searchable platform. The Sacramento Youth Resource Guide, a mobile app designed primarily for transition-aged youth ages 16-24, has been launched by Sacramento Steps Forward, 2-1-1 Sacramento, SkyClutch, and the Sacramento Continuum of Care Youth Action Board. The app allows users to search for services such as housing, food, health and wellness services, transportation, employment, education, and legal assistance. It also connects users directly with 2-One Sacramento for help navigating available services. The project was developed through a partnership with young people with lived experience.
