Donald Kendrick's Final Stained Glass Concert in Sacramento
After three decades on the podium, Donald Kendrick conducts his last Stained Glass concert in Sacramento. Donald Kendrick, founder and music director of the Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra, is set to conduct his last Stained Glass concert at Fremont Presbyterian Church in Sacramento. This marks Kendrick's last time conducting the series as he retires as the organization's founder and Music Director. The performance, billed as this historic, final Stained Gas concert, will include an area premiere of Kim André Arnesen's Magnificat and excerpts from George Frideric Handel's Dettingen Te Deum. The event is presented in memory of Diane Nunes McCormack, who died from 1946 to 2026. Kendrick's departure closes out a long run at the helm of an ensemble that has grown significantly under his direction.
