Sacramento man arrested after firearm threats lead to SWAT operation in Butte County
The Butte County Sheriff's Office and SWAT team arrested a Sacramento man Thursday after they say he threatened someone with a gun.According to the Butte County The Butte County Sheriff's Office and SWAT team arrested Sacramento man Tyler Julien, 41, after he allegedly threatened a victim with a firearm. Deputies were called to the 4000 block of Anita Road for reports of a man brandishing a firearm, but Julien was not located. They obtained a search warrant for Julien and a felony arrest warrant for him. After five hours of unsuccessful attempts to contact him, BCSO SWAT team members entered the building where Julien hid and used diversionary devices to produce a loud bang. Julien's arrest was made without further incident.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office and SWAT team arrested a Sacramento man Thursday after they say he threatened someone with a gun.
According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the 4000 block of Anita Road Wednesday for reports of a man brandishing a firearm. Deputies say evidence led them to believe Tyler Julien, age 41 of Sacramento threatened a victim with a firearm. Deputies determined Julien had two felony arrest warrants from Sacramento County. Deputies were not able to locate Julien.
Thursday, deputies received information that Julien had returned to the residence and was hiding inside a building. Members of the BCSO SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams responded. BCSO detectives obtained a search warrant for the property and a felony arrest warrant for Julien.
After approximately five hours of attempting contact with Julien, BCSO SWAT team members entered the building where Julien was hiding. When they entered the building, they used several diversionary devices. These devices produce a loud bang. Julien was located inside the building and placed under arrest without further incident. He will be booked at the Butte County Jail.
