Rancho Cordova-based Solidigm pauses IPO exploration amid market volatility

Rancho Cordova-based Solidigm will pause its exploration of an initial public offering, the firm’s parent company said Friday. Rancho Cordova-based Solidigm, the flash memory storage company, has decided to suspend its exploration of an initial public offering due to market volatility. The company, which has invested over $100 million into its regional facilities since 2022, was reportedly holding pitch meetings with investment banks for an IPO that could value the company at up to $150 billion. South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix acquired Solidigm from Intel in a $9 billion deal in 2021. The firm's products are used in data centers and customers include the top five companies in the Fortune 500.
