Lewis Apartments has opened Independence in West Sacramento, a new gated community of 208 townhome-style rental homes in which residents can enjoy the space and privacy of a single-family home without the responsibilities and costs of homeownership. This is Lewis’ second Independence rental-home community in Northern California, following Independence in Dixon in 2025. The company plans to expand the concept to additional Northern California markets, with future communities planned in Folsom, Vacaville, Fairfield, Newark and other locations.
